Exposed Silence through Art: Femicide & Resistance

Every year, the UN's 16 Days of Activism against Violence against Women marks a global call for action. In Denmark, at least 15 women have already been killed in 2025 as a result of intimate partner violence – a reminder that gender-based violence is not a distant problem. At the same time, in the Middle East, especially Iran and Afghanistan, we are experiencing brutal and state-sponsored gender apartheid.

With this event we want to create a space for grief, artistic expression and mobilization. Art is our focal point – as a language for trauma and as an activist tool for change.
